• Manage a portfolio of private clients including HNWIs, trusts, estates, and property investors
• Prepare and review complex personal tax and trust tax returns - routine work like P60s and P11Ds is handled by juniors
• Undertake calculations on capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and other complex matters
• Support and get involved with advisory projects across IHT, CGT, trusts, and residency issues
• Liaise with HMRC and respond to client tax queries with clarity and confidence
• Help shape a growing team and bring new ideas to the table
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff
• Keep up to date with tax legislation and industry developments

• Strong experience in a personal, corporate, or mixed tax role within practice
• ATT or CTA qualified—or qualified by experience
• Solid technical knowledge of personal tax and trust matters (non-dom work is outsourced)
• A confident, outgoing communicator who can build strong client relationships
• Organised, motivated, and team-oriented
• Someone who wants to grow their own space and shape the future of the tax team
