Our client is seeking aqualified and experienced Electricianto join their dedicated maintenance team. This is a hands-on role suited to a motivated professional with excellent diagnostic and customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-quality repair, installation, and refurbishment work across a range of domestic properties, ensuring all work complies with I.E.E. wiring regulations, including Part P.
ElectricianKey Responsibilities:
- Fault finding on single & three-phase installations
- Electrical testing and inspection, including Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
- Completion of electrical installation certificates and minor works reports
- Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Installation and replacement of showers, electric heating, immersion elements, and domestic heating controls
- Electrical installation work on various systems and equipment
- Reporting urgent repairs or health and safety concerns to the Qualifying Supervisor
- Accurate daily record keeping and time management using PDA/smart devices
- Participation in the Emergency Out of Hours service rota
- Promoting a proactive health and safety culture across all operations
ElectricianRequired Skills & Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2330 and 2382 qualifications (Essential)
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Desirable)
- Proven experience in domestic electrical installations and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to specify required materials and complete works to a high standard
- Comfortable working to deadlines and independently
- Proficiency with smartphone technology and work scheduling via PDAs
- Willingness to undergo further training and development
