Trainee CAD Technician Job in Ferndown
Our well-established client is a manufacturing and construction company based in the Ferndown area, and they are looking for someone who would like to train and develop as a CAD Engineer. The Trainee CAD Engineer will be joining an expanding team and will be gaining experience within architectural drawings and AutoCAD that produce client projects for approval and installation. Applicants for the Trainee CAD Engineer role will ideally have an interest in the construction. Our client is a market leader in the industry, and they offer an excellent working environment.
Responsibilities of the AutoCAD Technician include:
- Receipt of full training on architectural drawings and AutoCAD to produce client projects for approval and installation
- Producing product lists from AutoCAD for manufacturing
- Manage projects, ensuring client expectations are met
The successful Trainee CAD Engineer will have the following experience:
- Computer literate and a knowledge of AutoCAD
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work to deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits:
- A salary of £25,000 - £26,000 per annum
- Working Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 5.30 pm

This Trainee CAD Engineer job in Ferndown would suit candidates who have a CAD based qualification, or a knowledge of AutoCAD. An interest in manufacturing, and, or construction, and keen to develop their architectural drawing skill set.
