- Design, develop and deliver engaging IT training programmes using a range of delivery methods and platforms
- Train new officers and staff on core police systems, with a focus on NICHE and PNC
- Identify individual and organisational training needs
- Provide coaching, assessment, and ongoing support to learners
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation
- Represent the Learning & Development team in meetings and liaise with internal/external partners
- Ensure compliance with training standards, safeguarding, and force values
- A recognised training qualification (e.g., Police Trainer Certificate, C&G Education/Training, NVQ Level 3 in Learning & Development) or equivalent experience
- Strong IT literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Experience delivering training in a policing environment (desirable)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to a variety of learners
- Organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Team player with a proactive approach to knowledge sharing
- Must hold a UK driver’s licence (reasonable adjustments considered)
