We’re looking for a Payroller to join our friendly and fast-paced accountancy practice!?? Location: Ferndown ?? Hours: Full-time  - 8.45am - 5pm ?? Salary: Competitive, based on experience - Circa up to £35,000 per annum About the RoleAs a key member of our payroll team, you’ll be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes for a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery while providing excellent support and advice to clients on payroll-related matters.Key Responsibilities

  • Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
  • Managing auto-enrolment and pension submissions
  • Handling HMRC submissions (RTI, FPS, EPS)
  • Preparing payroll reports and payslips
  • Resolving payroll queries and liaising with clients
  • Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and compliance
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a payroll role (ideally within a practice environment)
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., BrightPay, Sage, Xero Payroll)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • A proactive, client-focused approach
