Service & Repairs Planner

We're recruiting for an experienced and highly organised Service & Repairs Planner to join a busy and growing team within the service and engineering sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where customer service and coordination are key to success.



What you'll be doing:

You'll be responsible for planning and coordinating engineering works - including repairs, services, and ECO projects. Working closely with internal departments, engineers, and customers, you'll ensure all jobs are scheduled, communicated, and completed efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing engineer diaries and booking in upcoming works

  • Liaising with customers to confirm appointments and issue RAMS

  • Handling purchase orders for plant, parts, and hire equipment

  • Communicating daily with engineers to discuss workloads

  • Making courtesy calls to customers ahead of scheduled work

  • Processing engineer worksheets and maintaining job records

  • Booking travel, ferries, and hire vehicles for engineers

  • Ensuring parts are dispatched ahead of repair works

  • Keeping internal trackers and systems up to date



What we're looking for:

  • Excellent administrative and planning skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and internal IT systems

  • Calm under pressure and able to meet deadlines

  • Positive, proactive and team-oriented
