Purpose
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a specialist fabrication team in Ferndown. This is a great opportunity to work on high-quality, bespoke stainless-steel components for the marine industry.
About the Company
Our client is a well-established fabrication company, renowned for producing custom stainless-steel products for marine applications. Their Ferndown facility is easily accessible by public transport and offers free on-site parking.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG welding of stainless-steel components
- Occasional MIG welding as required
- Working with sheet metal up to 3mm thickness
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Conducting quality checks on finished work
- Supporting general workshop duties and team collaboration
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in TIG welding, ideally with stainless steel
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Someone who has their own hand tools
