Audit Trainee - Fleet£22,000 - £24,000 | Full study support | Hybrid working + benefits

Start your audit career the right way - with structure, support, and a firm that's serious about your development.

If you've completed (or are working towards) AAT Level 2 or 3, and you're ready to take your first real step into professional audit, this is a brilliant opportunity to learn, grow and build a future in one of the most respected areas of accountancy.

You'll join a friendly, forward-thinking team that will give you real hands-on experience from the start - visiting clients, supporting audit fieldwork, and learning how businesses work from the inside out.

This is a long-term training role with a structured pathway. You'll be supported through the remainder of your AAT and beyond, with potential to go on to ACA or ACCA in the future if that's the route you want.

What you'll be doing:
  • Supporting audit fieldwork across a wide variety of clients
  • Working closely with qualified staff to complete audit testing and documentation
  • Attending client sites and assisting with onsite audit procedures
  • Keeping accurate records and working to deadlines
  • Developing your technical and commercial knowledge through day-to-day work and formal training
  • Building the foundations of a long-term audit career
What we're looking for:
  • AAT Level 2 or 3 completed or in progress
  • A genuine interest in audit and accountancy
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • GCSEs (including Maths and English) at Grade 4/C or above
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
What you'll get in return:
  • £22,000 - £24,000 depending on experience and qualifications
  • Full study support for AAT (and potentially ACA/ACCA in future)
  • Hybrid working once initial training is completed
  • 25 days' holiday + bank holidays
  • Life assurance, income protection and critical illness cover
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Private medical insurance (discounted)
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Corporate discounts and perks

If you're looking for a place to start your audit career where you'll be supported, challenged, and encouraged every step of the way - we'd love to hear from you.
