About the Role of Clinical Deputy Manager:

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will take a leading role in the management and delivery of high-quality care for residents with a range of complex needs. You'll support the wider nursing and care teams in maintaining clinical excellence, ensuring compliance with best practice guidelines and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities Include for the Clinical Deputy Manager include:

  • Providing clinical leadership and mentoring to nursing and care staff
  • Championing resident dignity, safety, and well-being at all times
  • Contributing to audits, care planning, risk assessments, and governance processes
  • Supporting quality improvement and ensuring up-to-date clinical practices are embedded
  • Maintaining accurate and clear documentation to support effective care delivery
  • Assisting in staff development, appraisals, and training initiatives
  • Being a point of contact for residents, families, and professionals, offering clinical expertise and reassurance

About You:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
  • Strong clinical background with experience in elderly care settings
  • Confident with care planning, clinical assessments, and CQC compliance
  • An excellent communicator with a compassionate, person-centred approach
  • Passionate about mentoring others and driving positive change
