Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are working closely with high performing region of a well-regarded volume housebuilder looking to strengthen their Commercial team. This opportunity would suit an existing Quantity Surveyor looking for a fresh challenge but also an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to step up in their career. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within volume housebuilding and have a strong desire to progress their career within the sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee budgets, contracts, and commercial performance to ensure projects remain profitable
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, valuations, and reports to support informed decision-making
• Appoint, negotiate with, and manage subcontractors to deliver high-quality work on time
• Monitor progress to ensure build, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved
• Work closely with internal teams to drive efficiency and meet company objectives
