Our client, an established business servicing commercial, industrial and domestic clients within the construction industry are looking for aMaintenance Engineerto join their busy and friendly team.
As a Maintenance Engineer you will primarily be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment. Duties will include:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Supervise and train maintenance staff
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues
As a Maintenance Engineer you will have:
- Experience within a manufacturing Industry, minimum of 5 years.
- Ability to logically fault find and diagnose, keeping break down times to a minimum.
- Knowledge of how large machinery operates and able to understand timber construction methods.
- Understanding of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
- Organised, self-motivatedable to work with minimal supervision.
- Good IT and communication skills liaising with staff & manufacturers.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel throughout SE region.
Core hours areMonday to Friday, 7am-4.30pm. Flexibility may be needed to meet business needs.
