Management Accountant (Part-Qualified or Qualified) - Manufacturing
Based in Flint | Weekly travel to Wigan (pool car provided)
Up to £50,000 + Benefits
Monday to Friday
Hybrid: 3 days in the office (Wed & Thurs fixed) after probation
We’re looking for a curious, energetic Management Accountant with solid manufacturing experience - ideally from a food/FMCG environment - who’s as comfortable on the factory floor as they are with a spreadsheet.
What you’ll be doing:
- Weekly travel to the Wigan site - talking to ops, understanding how things run
- Ownership of key financial analysis, reporting and forecasting
- Work closely with the Finance Business Partner and Manufacturing Controller on month-end, budgeting, and ad hoc projects
- Power BI reporting and costing analysis (rejects, labour, overheads, etc.)
- Involved in audit prep, lease management, PRN, fixed assets and plastic tax compliance
Who we’re looking for:
- Must come from a manufacturing background - food/FMCG is ideal
- Part-qualified or newly qualified (CIMA preferred - ideally at case study stage or ¾ through)
- Naturally curious and excited by how things are made - not just a bookkeeper
- Comfortable engaging with ops and asking the right questions
- Strong Excel skills (Power BI experience is a plus)
