My client, a global manufacturing organisation, is looking to appoint a Electrical shift Engineer to join their growing team in Flintshire.
This position requires a strong electrical background, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Carry out installation work to include modifying existing equipment and installation of new equipment
- Ensure that H&S policies are followed at all times
- Communicate to Engineering team to ensure a comprehensive shift handover is completed
- Assist team with implementation of new machinery or upgrades of existing machinery.
Qualifications
- HNC engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automated systems
- Interpret engineering drawings
- 3 years' experience within an engineering role
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work alone or part of a team
