Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

Location: Flintshire

Salary: £40k - £45k

What you'll be doing - Maintenance Engineer - Electrical bias

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plastic injection moulding machines and extrusion lines plus auxiliary equipment - chillers, robots, granulators & air compressors etc)
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including PLCs, control systems
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
  • Implement upgrades or modifications to improve equipment performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards for all electrical work
  • Submit detailed daily activity reports

Your skills and experiences - Maintenance Engineer - Electrical bias

  • Strong experience maintaining industrial equipment
  • Strong expertise in electrical systems, including PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems is advantageous but not essential
  • Digitally savvy - comfortable using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Desirable

  • Proven experience in maintaining plastic injection moulding machinery or extrusion lines or similar industrial equipment
