Currently working Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm. 

Will be going to in the future:

Monday to Thursday 7am-7pm and Friday 7am - 5pm..

Rate of pay

Depending on experience £37k to £39k per year. 

Job description
Multi-skilled Maintenance Fitter.

Job Summary Reporting to the Production Manager, duties to include preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as well as responding to emergency machine break downs throughout the plant. Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment on site ensuring that they are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventative & reactive maintenance of all manufacturing machinery
Overhaul, upkeep and repair of all mechanical & pneumatic machinery, fault finding, testing, removal and/or adjustments of existing fixtures & fittings


Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard Produce & maintain jigs & fixtures to engineering drawings


Keeping management and relevant parties’ aware, seeking advice and assistance when required.


Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and providing excellent customer care in an efficient manner.




Reliability & dependability essential with adaptability to a fast paced environment.
Time management and communication skills essential, ability to work on own incentive, log work and report any issues to Manager.


Time served in repair and maintenance, knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics.
Experience and working knowledge of air tools, compressors, electrical (tools & equipment)

Qualifications/Experience:
Time served/min 2 years’ knowledge experience in manufacturing environment
C&G/NVQ/BTEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
