Early Years Teacher Folkestone

Academics in Canterbury are seeking a nurturing, creative, and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our welcoming and inclusive early years settings in Folkestone. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and support young learners at the very beginning of their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment

  • Promote the emotional, social, and cognitive development of all pupils

  • Monitor and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records

  • Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure consistent support

  • Foster positive relationships and encourage independence and curiosity

  • Uphold safeguarding policies and promote equal opportunities for all children

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified Early Years Teacher (QTS or EYTS)

  • Passion for early years education and child development

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills

  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
