Are you a passionate Psychology Graduate eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Psychology Graduate to work at a secondary school in the Folkestone area supporting a student with SEN. This role will be an immediate start until the end of the academic year. The daily rate will be between £90 and £110 depending on experience.

The Role:

  • Work on a 1-1 basis with a student understanding their needs and tailoring support accordingly
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Provide support and mentorship to help the student navigate any personal or academic challenges
  • Address behavioural issues and promote positive interactions within school

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Psychology Degree
  • Strong communication skills
  • Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of the student
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of the student
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
