Academics Ltd is working with a fantastic specialist school in Folkestone that supports pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including SEMH, SLD, MLD and PMLD. They are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Learning Support Assistant (LSA) who is eager to help pupils access learning, build confidence and develop essential life skills.

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will:

  • Support children with varied learning, behavioural and communication needs

  • Assist with differentiated activities that match each pupil's ability and learning style

  • Provide calm, consistent support to improve emotional regulation and engagement

  • Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance where additional support is needed

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff
