Behaviour Mentor - SEN Provision - Folkestone

A specialist SEN school in Folkestone is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team and provide targeted support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD & PMLD

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy working closely with pupils to help them build confidence, develop positive behaviours and engage successfully with school life.



The Role: Behaviour Mentor

  • Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support to pupils

  • Support emotional regulation and social development

  • Implement positive behaviour strategies and routines

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams

  • Act as a consistent, calm and supportive presence throughout the school day



What we're looking for: Behaviour Mentor

  • Experience working with children or young people in SEN, SEMH, youth work, education, care or mental health settings

  • Calm, patient and resilient approach to behaviour support

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Youth Studies, Education or similar are encouraged to apply

  • A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs

** Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students

** 85 - 95 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only

** You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
