Sonic Summary

Our client, a small but growing manufacturer located in Forfar, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
This position is a days-based role, working Monday to Friday.
The responsibilities include fault finding and diagnostics for emergency breakdowns or planned maintenance, as well as modifying and improving machinery and the plant.
Candidates should possess excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and ideally have an HNC or equivalent qualification in a mechanical discipline.
Experience in manufacturing, particularly with pumps, conveyors, and gearbox maintenance, is highly beneficial, with a salary of £40,000 offered for the role.

Our client is a small but growing manufacturer based in Forfar and are looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their team. This is a days based role including Monday - Friday!!

The Role:

Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown or planned situations
Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant

The Candidate:

Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills,
Apprentice trained/HNC or equivalent qualification in a mechanical qualification
Experience within manufacturing would be highly beneficial
Pumps, conveyors, gearbox maintenance would be looked upon favourably
