Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent role as a CNC setter / operator to join a successful manufacturing company based in Four Marks, Hampshire.
Responsibilities
As a CNC setter / operator your main role will be setting and operating two different CNC machines, predominately lathes.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Inspection of own work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Reading technical drawings.
- De-burring.
- Linishing.
- Wire Brushing.
- Manual Turning/Milling.
- Goods-In receiving (Heavy Lifting)
Requirements
Experience in setting and operating CNC machines. TIG welding advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
You will need to be hard working and reliable with good attention to detail. A keen interest in engineering and a willingness to learn.
Able to work as part of a small manufacturing team, keeping your workspace and communal areas clean and tidy.
Overtime available in busy periods.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday / 8am - 4:30pm (30 minute lunch break & 2 x 15 minute tea breaks.)
Salary:14/15 per hour
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour
