Long-Term Teachers support schools across North Cornwall and we are seeking dedicated and passionate cover supervisors to join our team. Our schools are dedicated to providing a nurturing and supporting environment for all students, including those with special educational needs.

About the role:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and safe learning environment

• Support student with SEN, helping them to overcome barriers to learning

• Implement pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and manage any disruptions

• Collaborate with support staff

• Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all students

About you:

• Has experience working with children, preferably within an educational or coaching setting

• Patient, empathetic and dedicated

• Has strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning

• Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support young people

• Adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to drive and have access to your own car
