We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Scheme Manager in Helsby on an ongoing, temporary basis, working 35 hours per week and hourly rates between £16.15 per hour and £18.94 per hour.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused Retirement Living Scheme services, ensuring excellent customer service is achieved and performance is maximised. Your new role

  • Oversee allocations and lettings to meet void targets and maximise income for the group
  • Low-level Anti-Social Behaviour interventions and tenancy enforcement where appropriate
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation, carrying out routine testing of safety equipment and recording/managing all incidents
  • General admin duties including managing purchase orders and invoices
  • Arranging, promoting and leading at customer meetings, listening and responding to feedback in line with customer values
  • Enable various events and activities within the scheme to encourage resident engagement
  • Effective partnership working with colleagues, stakeholders, care providers and on-site businesses

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience delivering key housing & tenancy management functions including allocations, lettings, low level ASB management and voids control
  • Good knowledge and understanding of housing management legislation and best practice
  • Experience of working with a vulnerable customer group, ideally the elderly
  • Ability to work alone and organise workload efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
