We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Retirement Living Officer on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis in Helsby, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality retirement living services across the scheme, striving for continuous levels of excellent customer service and making sure all activity is aligned with the needs of older people and supports the achievement of the group's vision.Your new role

  • Maintain strong relationships with on-site partners, providers and external agencies including contractors and maintenance to ensure service delivery is met
  • Managing allocations and lettings to meet void targets and maximise income for the group
  • Delivering key housing & tenancy management functions including tenancy enforcement, arrears and low level anti-social behaviour interventions
  • Ensuring scheme complies with health & safety legislation and best practice, recording and managing any incidents and ensuring completion of actions within agreed timescales and monitoring repairs
  • Maintaining a positive environment for resident engagement, facilitating and hosting resident meetings, receiving and responding to feedback or complaints within agreed timescales in line with customer values and business priorities
  • Managing purchase orders, invoices and other administrative tasks

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience of delivering housing & tenancy management services, ideally within sheltered housing/independent living
  • Good knowledge and understanding of housing legislation, principles and best practice
  • Ability to work alone and organise workload accordingly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Adults only Enhanced DBS certificate (update service or new check to be carried out)
