Job Title: Conveyancing Assistant  Job Description

We are currently seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join our legal team within a boutique firm. This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate is expected to work full-time hours.

Job Duties:
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents related to property transactions
  • Conduct research on property titles and land registry
  • Communicate with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders involved in the conveyancing process
  • Handle administrative tasks to support the conveyancing team
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and procedures
Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a conveyancing role
  • Knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Education:

A relevant legal qualification or equivalent experience

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a conveyancing role

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx)
  • Experience using case management software
