Our client, a well-established leader within the industrial supply and distribution sector, based in Gateshead, has an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join their team on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis. Working Monday – Friday 08.30am – 17.00pm this is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing work for someone who’s confident on the phone and with administration.
The successful Sales Administrator should have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to multitask
- Previous experience in manufacturing, MRO, PPE, or a trade counter environment (preferred but not essential)
- Good IT and administrative skills, with confidence in handling quotations and sales data
In this role, the Sales Administrator will be responsible for:
- Following up on customer quotations
- Accurately processing customer orders and managing back orders
- Supporting the operational team by coordinating spare parts and consolidating supply chains
- Managing daily deliveries and maintaining stock levels
- Assisting with manual handling of stocked products and replenishing satellite store locations
