Position: Senior Civil Engineer

Join our award-winning Civil and Structural team as a Senior Civil Engineer. You’ll lead various projects, managing technical delivery from feasibility through planning, design, and construction. Expertise in drainage, highway design, SuDS, Flood Risk Assessments, and earthworks is essential.

Role Overview:

In this role, you’ll oversee diverse projects including housing, commercial, and care developments. You’ll use design software to craft innovative infrastructure solutions and work on both public and private sector projects, ensuring adherence to UK design standards. Collaboration with experienced team members will be key to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

We require a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng, MEng, MSc, HND, or HNC) with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in an engineering consultancy. You should be adept at producing drainage and highway drawings, design calculations, technical reports, and site appraisals. Knowledge of UK planning procedures and design codes such as Water UK Sewerage Sector Guidance and Manual for Streets is crucial. Experience with technical software like AutoCAD, Microdrainage/Flow, Causeway Live/PDS/Civil 3D, and AutoTrack is needed. Strong English communication skills and the ability to work independently and mentor others are also required. A full UK driving licence is advantageous.
