Are you a Civil Engineer with experience in design and project management looking for an exciting new opportunity where you will see excellent progression opportunities whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance with hybrid work?

This consultancy are specialists in civil and structural design for both residential and commercial construction, being one of the leading independent firms in the North East. They offer comprehensive service to numerous companies, notably Parker Hannifin, Go-Ahead and Wellstream.

On offer is a chance to become a part of the friendly team, mentoring Junior civil engineers to manage and organise their own projects and designs. You will be organising your workload and your Junior mentee's to ensure project deadlines are met, as well as regularly reporting to the team of directors.

You will primarily design drainage and flood risk assessments, working alongside the architectural team to produce comprehensive building project designs.

This role would suit an experienced civil engineer looking to further progress their career within an industry leading company that are offering fantastic mentoring and professional autonomy.

The role:

  • Project management
  • Designing roads and sewers
  • Commercial and industrial drainage design
  • Flood risk statements and assessments
  • Earthworks ground modelling
  • Mentoring junior civil engineers
  • Organising and managing junior civil engineers workload and managing deadlines

The person:

  • Experience working in civil engineering
  • HNC minimum
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Understanding of civil engineering software such as MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, Causeway PDS, AutoCAD, Civils 3D
  • Full UK driving licence
