- Day shift £14.46/ Night Shift: £16.46
- OT 1.5x first 5 hours over, 1.67 after 5 hours (over 40)
- Days 7:30am-4:30pm Monday - Thursday, Friday is 7:30am - 12:00pm
- Nights 9pm-7:30am Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday is 8:30pm-7am.
- Must drive as there is a lack of public transport to location for night shifts
- PPE - Overalls, safety boots for successful candidates.

THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Metal Cut Operator to work for our client in the Gateshead area. This role enables the successful Metal Cut Operative to join a forward-thinking organisation who is growing rapidly via acquisition and via accessing new markets.
THE ROLE
- Operate burn tables to cut shapes from metal sheets
- Check the quality of the cut pieces
- Load and unload the tables
- Adjust the settings on the tables to achieve the desired results
THE PERSON
- Ability to safely operate burn table machinery
- Knowledge of burn table processes and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team
- Hold a valid UK Driving License
