Due to continued growth, a highly regarded and successful Financial Services business, located on the outskirts of Gateshead, is looking to recruit 2 additional Paraplanners, to work on a full-time basis. The role may suit experienced, Level 4 qualified individuals or, trainees, ideally with some experience, who enjoy workig in a friendly and supportive team environment.Flexibility can be offered around working hours, with later start times and early finishes, alternative weeks.The role will appeal to both career Paraplanners and those who are looking to progress to an advisory role, in the future. For Trainees, salary will be between 拢25,000 to 拢27,250 plus bonus. For Diploma/experienced Parplanners, salary will depend on experience.
Responsibilities will include:路 Completion of Letters of Authority (LOA鈥檚)路 Review current plans路 Conduct detailed research and analysis, utilising FE Analytics, SelectaPension and Defaqto路 Construct suitability letters路 Update and maintain documents and processes including templates and schedules路 Support and challenge Financial Advisers, where required
Qualifications:
- DipPFS or part qualified, ideally
Candidate Requirements:
- Individuals must have some previous paraplanning experience, either as a Trainee Paraplanner or, be a competent and experienced Paraplanner
- Possess an understanding of pension, investment and life products
- Exposure to paraplanning tools including FE Analytics, SelectaPension and Defaqto, would be desirable
- Great communication skills and able to build business relationships with the team and Advisers
- Strong numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail
- Must possess good IT skills
- Keen to study further
