Description

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee payroll reporting and ensure timely submissions to relevant authorities.
  • Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures in line with company standards.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on payroll-related queries.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes where necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll data.

Profile

A successful Payroll Manager should have:

  • Previous experience in payroll management within a professional environment.
  • A strong understanding of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
  • Knowledge of the Transport & Distribution industry is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with employees and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • CIPP qualification.
