Description
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee payroll reporting and ensure timely submissions to relevant authorities.
- Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures in line with company standards.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on payroll-related queries.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes where necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll data.
Profile
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
- Previous experience in payroll management within a professional environment.
- A strong understanding of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of the Transport & Distribution industry is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with employees and external stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
- CIPP qualification.
