Description

As the HR Advisor, you will be responsible for the full HR life cycle, including, bt not limited to:

Employee Relations
  • Provide accurate and timely advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.
  • Conduct investigations and attend disciplinary/grievance hearings where appropriate.
HR Policy and Compliance
  • Ensure HR policies are up-to-date and in compliance with current legislation.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies across the organisation.
  • Monitor HR practices for adherence to internal standards and legal requirements.
Performance and Development
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers and employees in identifying training and development needs.
  • Coordinate or deliver training sessions and HR-related workshops when needed.
Data Management and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
  • Produce regular reports and analytics on HR metrics such as turnover, absence, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection policies.
Projects and Initiatives
  • Participate in and support HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, or system implementations.
  • Contribute to organisational change processes and culture development.

Profile

The successful HR Advisor should be

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards it.
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Confident in managing sensitive and complex employee relations issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
