This is a primarily home-based role with some travel to the North East for datacentre related projects. In order to apply for this role you must be fully eligible to work in the UK without restrictions and be able to travel to the North East on occasion.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead and support the delivery of robust and secure networking solutions. This senior-level position involves managing full project lifecycles, providing expert support, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end network projects: design, implementation, documentation, and support
- Provide 3rd line support and act as an escalation point for network-related issues
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
- Maintain network configuration backups and monitor logs for operational insights
- Support both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure
- Create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams
Experience Required:
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, WAN/LAN, and routing protocols
- Experience within a similar role
- Hands-on experience with entire Cisco Stack
- Skilled in log analysis, alerting tools, and backup management
- Experience managing network projects from start to finish
