Our client, Nigel Wright, is recruiting a Project Engineer for a leading engineering and manufacturing business specializing in high-tech systems.
The role involves engaging with various internal and external stakeholders and delivering technical services at customer sites and in factories.
Candidates should have a background in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience in Projects, Programme, NPI, or Design roles.
The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple engineering workflows, and a solid understanding of various engineering disciplines.
The salary for this role is competitive, and the ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Our clientNigel Wright is pleased to be supporting a market leading engineering and manufacturing business to recruit a Project Engineer. They design, assemble and commission specialist high-tech systems, supplying into a number of highly regulated markets. The opportunityReporting to the Head of Engineering, the role engages with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including “down the supply chain” external contacts and “up the supply chain” customers. The role plays a key part in delivering technical services at customer sites and factory, in the design, production and in-service support of new-build modern and legacy products, and delivering repair services to customer equipment.About youOur client is ideally looking for an Engineer with Mechanical Engineering background.Experience in Projects, Programme, NPI or Design roles would all be considered relevant. You will be:

Proficient at working in small teams comprising a diverse range of team members with unique skills, managed via traditional or non-traditional methods.
Able to translate relatable sector knowledge (i.e. from Oil & Gas, Renewables, Rail, Medical etc) promptly and efficiently, to facilitate successful integration in the ‘new’ sector.
Energetic, curious, methodical and determined; this role requires the ability to solve a range of technical problems, in hands-on and desktop-based technical work packages.
Comfortable with presenting and communicating technical matters and recommendations to management, in clear and concise English, in both writing and orally.

You will also need:

A strong knowledge base of all engineering disciplines.
Experience of managing multiple engineering workflows concurrently, comprising different technical disciplines and adhering to differing regulatory standards.
Demonstrable experience and knowledge of successfully managing a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
