The School and Role
This Secondary SEND Alternative Provision (PRU), Gateshead is looking to appoint a passionate SEND Teacher to work in Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this Secondary SEND Alternative Provision as part of an established team, the desired SEND Teacher will be working on a small class sized basis with pupils with SEMH and Behavioural Difficulties. You will cover a variety of subjects and topics. This full time SEND Teacher role is long term from September 2025 ongoing.
Requirements
The desired SEND Teacher will have;
- - Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children
- - Experience of working with pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour
- - A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils
- - An ability to work as part of a team
- - QTS/QTLS
