AEPartners are currently recruiting for a experienced Quality Inspector for their client in Gateshead on a contract to permanent basis.
The Successful Quality Inspector -Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in fabrication and general manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector within an manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using Faro Arm measuring equipment, with the ability to complete accurate dimensional inspections of complex, high-value components.
- Strong knowledge of standards including ISO9001.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience carrying out inspection reports to customer requirements.
- A proactive approach to non-conformance reporting and supporting root cause/corrective actions.
- Hands-on experience with a range of manual and digital measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM experience advantageous).
- Excellent attention to detail
