Production Team Leader

Purpose of the Production Team Leader

The Production Team Leader is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing and servicing operations, ensuring efficient manufacture, maintenance, repair, and customer support processes, while driving quality and performance improvements across the team.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Team Leader

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and effective production, maintenance and repairs.
• Work cross-functionally to identify, manage, train, and support authorised Service Partners to ensure high service standards.
• Plan production and servicing operations to maintain high customer service levels.
• Own and continuously improve all processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational excellence.
• Maximise the output and productivity of the team by streamlining workflows and providing necessary support and training.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage team, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with R&D, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product support and service delivery.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all service activities and maintain service records using CRM systems.
• Drive customer-focused initiatives to enhance service delivery and support product life cycle management.

Support Tasks of the Production Team Leader

• Provide service feedback during NPD to ensure ease of maintenance and support.
• Collaborate with R&D to design products with operational efficiency in mind.
• Create service processes and documentation for new product launches.
• Support EPD by identifying and implementing operational improvements.
• Assist in product testing and field trials to ensure serviceability.
• Develop training and support materials for new and updated products.
• Provide service insights to drive continuous product improvement.
