SG Personnel are working with an established manufacturing business, based in Gateshead, who are looking to recruit a Quality Technician, to join their team on a permanent basis.
Duties will include:
- Liaising directly with all customers
- Complete detailed product and process audits in line with IATF16949
- Assist in the training of personnel in aspects of business processes
- Conduct periodic capability studies, MSA and calibration
- Carry out inspections where required, including routine testing
- Support engineering activities, including assembly drawing translations
The successful candidate will require the following:
- Computer literate; Microsoft skills
- Auditor and problem solving skills
- A current driving license
- Experience of cosmetic panel manufacturing processes
- Understand customer drawings and specifications
- Quality, Engineering and tooling skills
Some desirable skills and experience include:
- IATF16949 Auditor qualification
- Minimum of 2 years experience working within automotive
- Assembly and Jig making skills
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-4.30pm. Friday, 7.30am-12.30pm.
The annual salary is up to £30,000, dependent upon experience.
