Job Advertisement: Paint Shop Labourer
Location: Gateshead, UK

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Paint Shop Labourer to join our team in Gateshead. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a physical and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and unloading wagons with materials and finished products.
• Work Preparation: Prepping items for painting, including degreasing and sanding.
• Wrapping Products: Wrapping and packing finished items for safe delivery.
• Housekeeping: Ensuring the workspace remains clean and organized at all times.

Working Hours:

• Standard Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Overtime:
  • Available on Saturdays and after standard hours (1-hour increments).
  • Paid at time and a half.

What We’re Looking For:

• A proactive and physically fit individual who can handle manual tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Due to location and start time Own transport would be beneficial.
