Requirements for the role:
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Safeguarding Adults policies.
- Understanding of hospital discharge guidance, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Continuing Health Care, and section 117 aftercare.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation in practice while ensuring compliance with the Local Authority's statutory responsibilities.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
- SWE registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK license
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
