Requirements for the role:

  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Safeguarding Adults policies.
  • Understanding of hospital discharge guidance, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Continuing Health Care, and section 117 aftercare.
  • Ability to interpret and apply legislation in practice while ensuring compliance with the Local Authority's statutory responsibilities.

  • SWE registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK license
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
