Area Sales Manager

Field Based (South East)

Up to £45,000 DOE plus company car and bonus

Are you a driven and passionate sales professional with a knack for building strong relationships? Elevation Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading manufacturer who are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team, covering the South East of England.  As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting and developing sales of products across a diverse range of retail sectors.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Driving profitable sales growth and increasing brand awareness.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with independent convenience retailers, petrol forecourts, builders’ merchants & DIY centres, garden centres, wholesalers, coal merchants, and more.
  • Managing a territory that includes London, Kent, Sussex, the Home Counties, as well as the Gatwick and Canterbury areas.
  • Extensive travel throughout the South East of England, with occasional visits to Head Office in Yorkshire.

Skills & Experience:

  • A proven track record of sales success within a similar territory.
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • A persistent and tenacious attitude with the drive to develop both existing customers and seek out new business opportunities.
  • An organised and structured approach to work with good IT literacy.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • To be considered for this role, you will need to be based within an easy commute to Gatwick
