What You Will Do:

- Deliver the seat belt system for specific vehicle programmes, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and timeline objectives.

- Coordinate the design, development, testing, and introduction of new or modified seat belt systems.

- Maintain and manage engineering documentation, including design analysis, quality history, and compliance with global standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, manufacturing, and vehicle engineering, to meet programme targets.

- Resolve technical challenges and ensure all safety, legal, and functional performance requirements are met.

- Lead the implementation of engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables and manage component test plans to design verification sign-off.

What You Will Bring:

- Proven experience in leading technical projects within an automotive engineering environment.

- A strong understanding of product creation, engineering change control, and safety system development.

- Knowledge of seat belt or safety component design, including dynamic performance and manufacturing processes.

- Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

- A degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
