Expleo is working with a leading automotive OEM, supporting their mission to redefine modern luxury through cutting-edge engineering and design. We're currently seeking a CAD Author to join the Virtual Build & Test team within Engineering Operations. This is an initial 12 month contract based in The Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, innovation-driven environment, delivering CAD modifications that directly support digital validation and virtual build across the vehicle product lifecycle.

You'll play a key role in shaping the future of automotive design and engineering by using your CAD expertise to deliver data that enables robust virtual validation.

Key Responsibilities;

Deliver CAD modifications aligned with engineering direction
Ensure compatibility with CAE requirements and virtual build standards
Support alignment reviews and provide validated CAD models
Adhere to CAD standards and gather stakeholder feedback

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Proficient in CATIA V5 and Teamcenter
Strong understanding of automotive CAD standards and processes
Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

Experience with CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE
Exposure to digital engineering or virtual validation
