Job Purpose
  • Support a varied portfolio of clients, providing excellent taxation advisory and planning services
  • Oversee corporate tax reviews for audit clients, ensuring compliance at every step
  • Support Partners with corporate tax restructuring and due diligence
  • Assist with the preparation of research and development tax credit claims
  • Deal with ad-hoc queries across the wider firm when required
  • Identify tax advisory and planning opportunities
  • Liaise with third parties to collate tax return information
  • Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements
  • Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
  • Mentor junior staff, reviewing work and delivering training to aid their development
  • Champion your own professional development by undertaking progression opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, part-qualified or with the desire to begin studying
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Corporate tax and business tax compliance experience
  • A proven track record of managing a portfolio within practice
  • Solid tax advisory knowledge
  • Highly personable and an excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage own workload autonomously
  • Good at working under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
  • Self-motivated, professional and reliable
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
  • An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
