A Boutique Wealth Planning firm based in Gerrards Cross with a client focussed approach to business has a vacancy for an experienced Financial Services Administrator. The firm is rightly proud of its excellent reputation for putting quality advice and excellent customer services. The majority of their clients are City Professionals and Business Owners.

This is a varied role with a fantastic opportunity to progress within the company, whether to a senior administrator, paraplanner or financial adviser. Support, guidance and training will be provided by the business so your desire to learn and develop is really important.

You would report to the Managing Director, who is the principal adviser, the key focus for the role is to provide detail orientated and timely administrative support to enable both in-bound and out-bound business activity to run as smoothly as possible. All our work is regulated, governed and audited so the need for thoroughness is paramount. The Managing Director’s work comprises a mixture of planned meetings and appointments but also large amounts of 'ad hoc’ and unplanned reactive work. So, the nature of the role requires attention to detail but also flexibility and a solutions driven, team orientated approach.

Responsibilities

  • BackOffice Database Management - daily use regarding client information and progress logging
  • Extracting critical information in report run formats from the 'platforms’
  • Daily use of MS Excel in conjunction with the platform and BackOffice database
  • Platform Management - daily use for client financials regarding ISA’s, investment and retirements accounts
  • Responding to regular enquiries and requests for information from the BackOffice database and the platform
  • To help ensure all soft and hard copy information held meets compliance and regulatory standards under the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) stipulations
  • Calling clients, providers and other parties to progress client casework
  • Gathering and processing plan information from providers
  • Producing MS Excel spreadsheets with client plan info
  • Preparing thorough and accurate meeting packs for both new clients and client reviews
  • Answering calls, responding to inbound enquiries

In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have -

  • Previous experience as an Administrator within a financial planning or IFA firm
  • Previous experience providing sales/administration support to financial advisers
  • High level of analytical capability and good communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Progression towards Financial Planning qualifications would be beneficial, however experience is key

In return there is a competitive package with a salary of £28,000 -£35,000 dependent upon previous experience, a bonus scheme, which includes a loyalty bonus and a performance bonus. There is a Company Pension and Private Medical Insurance along with other employee benefits.
