Known for delivering City-quality advice in a regional setting, B P Collins offers lawyers a strong platform for high-quality work, career progression, and a supportive, collaborative culture outside of London.The RoleAs a key part of the construction disputes team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Advising clients on construction contracts—particularly the JCT suite—offering commercial and practical solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Managing disputes involving defective works, payment issues (interim and final), delay claims (extensions of time, loss and expense, liquidated damages), and claims under third-party security arrangements.
  • Handling proceedings in the High Court and Technology and Construction Court, as well as alternative dispute resolution methods such as adjudication and mediation.
  • Providing strategic, real-time advice during ongoing construction projects to help minimise disputes and protect clients’ positions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients to deliver legal updates and tailored training on legislative and industry developments.
