Tax Assistant

AJ Chambers are excited to be partnered with a independent firm who are looking for a tax assistant to join their team.

This approachable accountancy practice combines the personal touch of a small firm with the expertise of a larger one. With specialist support across key areas, they offer a comprehensive service to a diverse client base. Well-established in the community, the firm maintains strong professional relationships with local banks, solicitors, and financial advisers.

What will your role be?

  • Prepare self-assessments tax returns for a diverse range of clients
  • Draft income and expenditure accounts, as well as rental accounts
  • Ensure all tax returns are filed accurately and on time.
  • Handle client queries
  • Prepare capital gains computations and submit the 60day CGT.
  • Assist with ad hoc advisory work
  • Assist with admin tasks
