Security Administrator

A fantastic opportunity to work in the UK’s industry-leading independent fire and security specialist company, they are renowned for their expertise in design, supply and installation. My client is looking for a highly organised, detail oriented Security Administrator to join their team, to take ownership of the end to end coordination and administration of client contracts.

Main Responsibilities
- Setting up new jobs, creating and maintaining job files in Simpro
- Ordering parts, raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Workbook management, updating and maintaining project workbooks alongside the Security Administrator
- Invoicing (small works), preparing and processing invoices
- Purchase ledger, recording and reconciling supplier invoices
- Job sheets (small works), producing and updating job sheets
- Returns, managing returned goods and coordinating with suppliers
- Engineers timesheets, collecting and recording timesheets for payroll and invoicing
- Monitoring stock, tracking and reporting stock levels
- Logging new quotes, entering new quote requests into the system
Knowledge and Experiences
- Experience in financial management
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
- Excellent written, verbal, and numerical communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Experience in a busy office environment (preferred)
- A willingness to learn about legal and regulatory compliance in the Fire Industry.
