Machine Operator / Production Operator

Rochester

c. £25k

Monday – Friday (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm) - rotating weekly

My client, a successful and established organisation, are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Machine Operator to join their thriving team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be hardworking and fully computer literate, with a high level of attention to detail, previous experience working on machines, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload!

Duties include:

  • Prepare machines and set them to production recipes.
  • Prepare all raw materials so they’re ready for production.
  • Stacking all finished products, and any other manual handling required.
  • Resolve any stoppages with machines.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Any other duties required.

The right candidate will have / be:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, operating machinery.
  • Experience working within the food manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
  • A strong team player.
  • Computer literate.
  • Quick and methodical.
  • Flexible and proactive.
