The Company is a well established Multi Sector Design & Install Electrical Contractor based in Gillingham, Kent who specialise in the Commercial, Public Office, High End Residential and Education sectors mainly in London and the South East.

They use the safest and most appropriate installation methods relevant to the sector/environment, and can provide their service as single discipline or as part of an integrated project solution that is fully managed and controlled by their management team.

Electrical Estimator Responsibilities

• Review project documentation and verify against the Drawing Register.
• Perform take-offs and assess project complexity, identifying potential risks.
• Analyse specifications and project documentation.
• Send enquiries to specialists and issue RFIs as required.
• Input data into estimating software.
• Prepare tender letters and summaries for submission.
• Lead pre-bid meetings with management.
• Participate in pre-, mid-, and post-tender meetings.
• Conduct Value Engineering analysis on tenders when necessary.
• Attend site visits during tender stages.
• Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the Contracts Manager.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.
• Occasionally assist with large project variations.

Electrical Estimator Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in estimating.
• Familiarity with estimating software (desirable, but not essential).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with New Housebuilding projects (desirable, but not essential).

Electrical Estimator Package & Benefits:

• Salary:(55,000 - 65,000 per annum).
• Car allowance
• Bonus:Annual performance bonus
• Holidays:22 days, increasing by 1 day annually (up to 30 days), plus Bank Holidays.
• Equipment Provided:Phone and laptop.
